Thank you to all that prayed, donated, and served 2021! We are passionate about this project and look forward to sharing the gospel with even more local children and teens "here and abroad" in 2022, because it is good and we know the Holy Spirit will lead us.
We invite you to join us in partnering with Samaritan's Purse to pack even more shoebox gifts and further the gospel. We will gladly accept shoebox gifts you pack at home and welcome you to join us in future packing parties as well.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
PRAY
Pray for each child that will receive a shoebox gift and for those taking part in this ministry. Over the years we have intertwined this ministry with our youth and foster group home ministry. Many people are impacted in a positive way from those donating items, to those participating in the event, and those receiving the shoebox gift.
DONATE
We have a large white crate located in the foyer to collect items. Most of our sponsors like to focus on purchasing one item in a quantity of 10 each month. Others prefer to purchase 10 each of the basic items listed all at once. Collection items are listed below. We also accept filler items (any approved gift item on the list.) Operation Christmas Child envelopes are also available - located next to the collection crate for monetary donations. Donate!
VOLUNTEER
Join in on Fellowship with a Purpose, Every Thursday 1pm-4pm, to be a part of the various teams needed to plan, prepare, and put on the Shoebox mascot.

BUILD
One of the most helpful ways to support OCC is to build your own box or two at home and participate in scheduled packing parties. Packing parties have been wildly successful in the past, with a personal record of 630 boxes 2021! Our church may be small, but with God's support and your help, many children can know the joy and compassion of the Lord.
